Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is designed to train you effectively for self-defense. It is also designed to teach you how to use body mechanics and leverage to allow you to survive and win against a larger and stronger opponent. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu does this by teaching you strategic body positioning and intelligent alignment of the bone structure of your body and not by the use of strength. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu has become one of the most proven effective martial arts in the world as well as one of the most popular.
