Youth JiuJitsu is a Program that teaches both
self-defense and sport from the Pedro Sauer Brazilian
Jiujitsu System. Youth JiuJitsu ages range from 6-13
years of age. Pedro Sauer JiuJitsu combined with our
team shares and teaches and brings out the best in
today’s youth. Classes are positive, athletic, focused,
and teaches respect yourself and your training partner.
Renee Nolte teaches the 7 Qualities of a Champion in
Martial Arts and Life in this Course where movements in
flexibility, quickness, power, posture, timing and such
are coupled with knowledge, rationality, perseverance,
and honesty. Students are encouraged to live by these
principles both here at “Sidekicks” at home and in the
community. Youth JiuJitsu begins with specific warm ups
that complement the core study of the day followed by
techniques, specific drills, and application of
techniques in partner and group training.
Master Nolte trains an Elite Team in Portland, TX where
students compete and win in competitions like The Naga’s,
and Abu Dhabi's. Renee Nolte, a competitor since age 13,
knows what it takes to win, focus and be your best! She
sent her oldest son Jeff to Brazil to learn more
JiuJitsu for his competitions. He currently is in The
U.S. ARMY where he placed 1st in GFT Middleweight
Division and will go on to open a KFM & BJJ school when
he returns from his ARMY service.
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is designed to train you effectively for
self-defense. It is also designed to teach you how to use body
mechanics and leverage to allow you to survive and win against a
larger and stronger opponent. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu does this by
teaching you strategic body positioning and intelligent
alignment of the bone structure of your body and not by the use
of strength. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu has become one of the most proven
effective martial arts in the world as well as one of the most
popular.
Classes in Gracie JiuJitsu are very popular with Professional
adults/security personnel and law enforcement - people that need
to have a safe training environment because they have to be at
work the next morning. Good Gracie JiuJitsu is designed for good
self-defense for the street. Not everyone in everyday living or
even in every line of work for that matter must have a hard
control defense. Gracie JiuJitsu shares multi dimensions of
control, disable, counters, come-alongs and more.
Gracie JiuJitsu is also very popular with Mom’s and Dad’s and
students who are focused on learning the Gracie Self Defense
systems and Art of JiuJitsu. Competition is not required as a
student. Students wanting to compete can be successful as it is
also sport based. Although this is not our main objective one
may compete in a BJJ competition if they so desire. What you can
expect from a Pedro Sauer Gracie JiuJitsu class is a warm up and
flow drills based off the lesson of the hour followed by a Self
Defense technique, 1-3 JiuJitsu techniques and rolling.
